Emma McMullin

About

Emma McMullin is an Artist, Educator, and Producer based in Georgetown, Texas.  Hailing from the east coast of Canada, McMullin was awarded the Governor General’s Medal of Canada in 2006 for Leadership in the Arts.  McMullin immigrated to the US by way of Brooklyn, where she served as Artistic, Executive, and Operational Director at two of New York’s most dedicated incubators for new & emerging Artists: The Tank NYC and National Sawdust.  As The Tank’s Artistic and Executive Director, McMullin worked with emerging Artists to produce adapted & original work totalling 1,200+ productions over her 5 year tenure.

 

As a folk singer & songwriter, McMullin has been featured on CBC Radio One's Songwriter's Circle and awarded the Northrop Frye prize for Excellence in Songwriting.  McMullin is the founder of Good JuJu Records, LLC, where she produces music for everyone *but mostly for kids.  Her first full-length album, Kind & Wild (published under Sugarwoods), is set to release Spring 2026.  

 

McMullin has curated and produced over 2,000 unique shows and reached 99,000+ audience members. Her curatorial focus centers around authentic self-expression, community, and education through the Arts.  McMullin believes that creativity is an innate gift shared by all people that connects and brings us closer together.

 

McMullin lives in the heart of Texas with her daughter & a few too many critters.  Her heart is happiest back home in the Sugarwoods.
